Principal’s Report for the Florence Sawyer School Council

1. We ended 2011 with our sing-a-long in the auditorium.

2. School started smoothly for 2012.

3. January 17 will be an all day professional development day for staff.

4. We completed the budget. Presentation to follow tonight.

5. The Basketball teams are having successful seasons Girls are undefeated at 7-0, Boys are 6-1 (first loss in three seasons)

6. Debate, DI, Knitting Club, Origami Club, Math Olympics, Mural, Yearbook and Drama are all moving along.

7. PAC Sponsored two great Enrichment assemblies, Storyteller Alecyia Quintano and Techsplorations on Thursday.

8. We are in the process of our Winter AimsWeb Testing in ELA for grades 1-6 and random students in grades 7 & 8.

9. PAC Trivia is fast approaching. Teaser question….Name one of the six films from Pixar Studios to win the Oscar for Best Animated Feature……
