The mission of the School Council is the continual improvement of the quality of the educational experience of our students and the community. We achieve improvement and growth by developing partnerships to explore ideas, communicate effectively with constituent groups, and develop action strategies in selected areas. The School Council advises the Principal on ways to improve educational opportunities for all Florence Sawyer School students.

All decisions made by the Florence Sawyer School Council reflect the core values and vision of the Sawyer School community. The School Council includes representatives from the Sawyer community: administrators, teachers, support staff, parents, and community members-at-large. The Council meets on the second Wednesday of the month virtually from 6:30 to 8:30 PM unless otherwise noted.
