Florence Sawyer School Council
The mission of the School Council is the continual improvement of the quality of the educational experience of our students and the community. Improvement and growth are accomplished through the development of partnerships to explore ideas, communicate effectively with constituent groups, and develop strategies for action in selected areas. The purpose of the School Council is to advise the Principal on ways to improve educational opportunities for all Florence Sawyer School students.
All decisions made by the Florence Sawyer School Council reflect the core values and vision of the Sawyer School community. The School Council is made up of representatives from the Sawyer community: administrators, teachers, support staff, parents and community members-at-large. The Council meets on the second Wednesday of the month in the Library at 3:30PM.
Meetings are open to the public.
Meeting agendas and minutes are posted in the school office area, the Bolton Town Hall and on-line.
