Temporary Employees or students (UnderGraduate) HIRE Information
Hire of Temporary Employees
Below is a list of the information we will need to process the hire of a temporary employee:
Name of applicant
ID# (if applicable)
Desired Start Date for job assignment
End Date of job assignment
Number of hours the employee will work per week
Fund/Org the employee will charge to
Description of Job Duties (2-3 sentences of duties)
At least 1 reference check
Questions:
Are they active in Banner - check PEAMPL
If not active, they must apply to the Temporary Employee job posting in MyUA to be processed as a new hire
Do they have another active job in the system - Ask them and check NBAJOBS
Use PPAIDEN for full legal name, and alaska.edu email address
