2nd Street USA Inc. expects all STAFF to handle the company property or merchandise with utmost care and the protection of the company’s assets, including money, merchandise, inventory or any item that belongs to the company is the responsibility that all STAFF share.
As such, you must report all incidents of theft, damage, shoplifting or any misuse of company property committed by STAFF or customer that you witnessed, obtained or suspected to Management immediately.
The following are examples of prohibited behaviors or theft (not all inclusive):
Apprehended for stealing 2nd STREET USA, Inc. property, merchandise, inventory, samples including broken/ returned items.
Purposely charging a lower price than listed, omitting an item, or making change for yourself, friends or family members.
Taking money from a cash register or customer credit card numbers without prior authorization from Management.
Taking the company property, merchandise, inventory, samples to home without prior approval from Management.
Employees who violate this policy will be subject to disciplinary action, up to immediate termination of employment. In addition, 2nd Street USA Inc. will seek for legal remedy including filing police report as well as potential lawsuit against STAFF with a request for restitution of asses, funds or merchandise.
