Diving Beast Ichthyichthy

Well, Mollusks enjoy their golden age on land the seas are still a realm dominated by Fish.  


Kitefin Sharks remain the most common predators in most ecosystems and Ichthyichthy’s have rapidly speciated into many forums. 


Talking the cranial flexibility to a maximum extent to the point that the whole skull is mostly hinges and joints compared to other Ichthyopterans who already have highly flexible jaws that can open wider than their head. 

At up to 20 meters in length, the Diving Beast Ichthyichthy is by a laughable margin the biggest Ichthopteran to yet live beating out the estimated size of Leedsichthys for the technical title of largest ray-finned-fish as well.


Despite the large size Diving Beast’s eat predominantly Cephalopods their flexible jaws bow outward like a giant pelican. 


An elastic bill pouch that connects to their throat lets them effectively bulk-feed, eating hundreds of squid at a time during their dives into the deep ocean to hunt.
