My self-Asim, I am an indigenous Karachiite who spend his childhood in a poor neighborhood of layari with a meaninglessly life.
Few years back, I have completed my Matriculation, I was not good in studies because I was not interested nor I got the understanding of what they were teaching, I think I have inherited this thing from my family because in our family there was no concept of educating children to improve their future, hardly three people in my family has completed their intermediate education.
My father was a truck driver who was working recklessly just to earn enough to feed us and to pay the loans, ten years back he went to Saudi Arabia to earn more so we can payoff the loans, since then; he come after every two years to meet us and then go back again after staying with us for three months.
My mother is a driving force behind me, she encouraged me and facilitate me with all possible means to purse my passion, after coming to arts council, I started understanding the importance of education, I started observing people which helped me improving my appearance as well as finding my characters for theater.
I firmly believe in hard working, that’s why I’m optimistic that things will change one day, and I will bring ease to my family.
