서시
불타는 햇빛 아래, 고요한 바닷바람에 흔들리며 한 여행자가 나타났다. 머나먼 서쪽의 바다를 건너, 이국의 향기를 두른 채로.
나는 그가 들려주는 이야기에 귀 기울였고, 그의 눈동자 속에서 반짝이는 세계를 엿보았다. 약속이 이어진다. “다음엔 네 고향에서 만나자.” 기억의 푸른 바다는 보석처럼 빛나며, 하나하나의 이야기를 빛으로 바꾸어 간다. 계절이 다시 돌고, 가을바람에 감싸인 여행자는 다시 대지를 밟는다. 시간을 넘어선 재회는 바다와 바람이 이끌어오며, 그 만남은 꿈처럼 찾아온다.
소개
소현문과 갤러리 아울은 2025년 공동기획으로 한일 문화예술 교류 전시를 개최합니다. 수원과 후쿠오카, 가깝고도 먼 두 도시에서 2025년 여름과 가을, 두 차례 양국의 작가를 소개하는 프로젝트 가운데, 11월 수원의 소현문에서 열리는 전시는 제 2차 세계대전 종전과 대한민국 광복 80주년이자, 한국와 일본이 수교를 정상화한 지 60주년에 다다른 동아시아 역사를 딛고 '밀린' 대화를 이어갑니다.
《기억 항로》는 지난 여름 후쿠오카로 보낸 편지(전시)에 일본작가들이 응답하는 기획으로, 규슈섬(사람들)의 목소리가 역사의 항로를 따라 한국에 다다르는 여정을 비유합니다. 보석처럼 빛나는 기억의 바다를 항해하여 가을바람과 함께 대지에 다다르는 전시 첫날, 긴소다 작가는 라이브 페인팅을 선보이고, 타무라 마사츠구 갤러리 아울 디렉터과 관객가 대화 나누는 프로그램을 진행합니다. 이번 자리가 한일 양국 사이 문화 교류의 폭넓은 기회로 이어지기를 바랍니다.

- 序詩 -
灼ける陽光の下、静かな潮風に揺られて、ひとりの旅人は現れた。遥か西方の海を越え、異国の香りを纏いながら。私は彼の語る物語に耳を傾け、その瞳の奥に輝く世界を覗き見た。約束はやがて紡がれ、「次は君の故郷で」と。青き《記憶の海》は、宝石のように煌めき、ひとつひとつの物語を光に変える。やがて季節は巡り、秋風に抱かれた旅人は異国の大地を踏みしめる。時を越えた再会は、海と風に導かれ、夢のように訪れる。

本展は、韓国・水原の「素顯門（ソヒョンムン）」と日本・福岡の「Art Gallery OWL（ギャラリーアウル）」による、日韓文化芸術交流プロジェクトの一環として開催しております。
8月に福岡で開催された《Slow Shower》のアンサー展として、本展《記憶航路 / Odyssey of Memory》では、福岡を拠点に活躍する作家 銀ソーダ氏と画家 中島真由美氏の作品を、韓国・水原のソヒョンムンにてご紹介いたします。
記憶航路 - Odyssey of Memory -
「記憶」をめぐる旅をテーマに、海と風が導くように日韓の地を往還する本プロジェクト。
過去と現在、個と他者、そして国境を越える“心の記憶”が、二人のアーティストによって静かに紡がれます。
銀ソーダ
「記憶と時間の可視化」をテーマに人の内側に存在するであろう記憶の海をかたちにしている。青を基調とした作品は“Ginsoda Blue”と呼ばれており、物事の通過点に存在する可能性の色である青は創造を刺激する表現に欠かせない存在となっている。
中島真由美
「穏やかな記憶」と「風」をテーマに、日常の中でふと立ち現れる情景や人物を、柔らかな線と淡い色調で描いている。単なる風景や人物描写にとどまらず、時間の流れと心象を映し出す「記憶の風景」として、多くの人々に安らぎと共感をもたらしている。

Beneath the scorching sun, swayed by the quiet sea breeze, a solitary traveller appeared. Crossing the distant western seas, he bore the scent of foreign lands. I listened to the tales he told, glimpsing the world that shone within his eyes. A promise was spun: ‘Next time, in your homeland.’ The azure Sea of Memory sparkled like jewels, transforming each tale into sparkling light. Seasons turned, and the traveller, embraced by the autumn breeze, trod upon foreign soil. A reunion beyond time, guided by sea and wind, arrived like a dream.
As a response exhibition to the August Fukuoka presentation of Slow Shower, this exhibition, Odyssey of Memory, introduces works by Fukuoka-based artist Ginsoda and painter Mayumi Nakashima at Sohyunmun in Suwon, South Korea.
Odyssey of Memory
This project, themed around a journey through “memory”, traverses the lands of Japan and Korea as if guided by sea and wind.
Past and present, self and other, and the “memories of the heart” that transcend borders are quietly woven together by these two artists.
Ginsoda
"Visualization of memory and time." This is what I base as a theme for my art, the theme from which creating a sea of memories that might exist within people. I believe time is not something that is given, but something that you need to create for yourself. In that regard, I consider creating an art is an act of creating time. “Ginsoda Blue”. As my art is based on color of blue, this is what my art is called. Blue is the color of possibility, which is indispensable for expression that stimulates creativity.
Mayumi Nakashima
Taking ‘gentle memories’ and ‘wind’ as themes, she depicts scenes and people that suddenly appear in daily life using soft lines and pale tones. Transcending mere landscape or portraiture, these ‘landscapes of memory’ reflect the passage of time and inner states, offering solace and resonance to many.
We hope you will take your time to view these works and experience a journey of memories, crossing the vast sea that shimmers in summer alongside the autumn breeze.
