They changed a bunch of shit. Heres what I wanted - modernized DFC behavior, newer textures. They fucking didnt. Still the old DFC, but they fucked up a bunch of other shit. fluid barrels now give effects based on the material. for example, lava barrels now send you to hell, Schrabidic fluid buckets (SaS3, schrabidic acid) fucking blinds you, also theres radioactivity now. for example, a barrel of balefire fuel is 800k rads a fucking second. They did add hazardous fluid tanks like regular HBM, but is there a fucking purpose to all that before? Hazardous tanks only hold 1 bucket, meanwhile a barrel holds 16. Now I cant even carry around a fucking barrel of cryogel for a fucking DFC without getting the effects of holding a cryogenic object.
Thats the textbook definition of Modular Enshittification. Regular HBM doesnt have that for ANY fluids, but NTME does? Alcater, why did you have to rub it in, and now Leafia? Leafia, please dont do this. Or at least dont make them fuck the experience up in creative mode.
For whatever fucking reason, I loaded into my reactor build of that Maizen reactor, I noticed, why the fuck do I have fuckass weakness? They made the block toxic? Just dont make them give the fuckass in creative mode.
"Youre using it wrong"
If youve read HBMs blog, or read some of my other blog posts, Ive talked about such things before. Enshittification and shit that , well, I want to like it, but it just simply refuses to let me. Its just some issue that never had to be fucking implemented in the first place, it has no reason for being, therefore why did they rub it in? Or well they could make it have no effect in fucking creative mode at least. Now its all centered around those fuckass effects. I like NTM. Its without a doubt my favorite Minecraft mod. Nothing comes close, Sure, there are many forks of NTM, but they implement it. Does playing this have to actively be painful? I hold a stack of mercury barrels, I have a bunch of shitass effects, rendering the experience unplayable. I hold a bucket of lava, fire blocks up half the damn screen, I hold barrels or standard tanks of SaS3, fucking blinding that I never asked for. Everything about the fluid system is supposed to be nice, but it just refuses to let me. The closest analogy I can think of is a cake with glass shards in it. The cakes nice of course, but are the shards necessary? Do I have to enjoy a cake while getting my mouth cut into shreds? Why do people act like its some grand fucking achievement to get their lips all stabbed up, their throat demolished as well as the rest of their achievement, and then youre in the fucking ER. If you dont want that, just dont fucking do it. It doesnt involve rocket science just to fucking make these not do anything in creative, mostly its Mojang who should never made it do that in the first fucking place. Why didnt they just exclude negative effects from creative entirely in the first fucking place? What the hell.

This update wasnt just some fucking troll from Alcater, saying "oh fuck you, were gonna put glass shards in cake, go ahead, sue us, fuck you, no one gives a shit" The FEnSU animation looks smooth and nice, I fucking like it.
Performance

Use of Industrial craft and Thermaldynamics or whatfuckingever. The mods work together, theres opencomputers, JEI, thermaldynamics, industrialcraft, People even upload their nice PWRs and RBMKs.
