Learn: At Christmas we celebrated the birth of Jesus. God the Father's greatest gift of love to us, is His son Jesus.
Book Video: Listen to the book, My Birthday, Jesus’ Birthday by Holly Davis. Discuss with your child how the day we are born is similar and how it’s different than Jesus’ birth.
Faith Blooms: Talk about Jesus. Jesus is God’s gift of love to us. Your child is also a great gift and a sign of God’s love.
YC Family Supplies: Make the Chapter 10 "Nativity Scene", using your YC Family Supplies. Have your child point out Mary, Joseph and Jesus.
Action: Look for Signs of God's Love both inside and outside of your house. Look at the beautiful sky, clouds, flowers, find a heart, a cross, a smile, an animal, a Bible and a hug.
Prayer Video: Listen and pray along with this video of the Hail Mary. This is a special prayer to Jesus' mother.
Complete one:

Learn: Understand that Jesus is our friend and we gather together on Sunday at Mass as friends.
Video: Watch Jesus Chooses His Disciples from the Beginner Bible. Jesus' new friends went with Him. They helped Him gather more friends and followers.
Faith Blooms: Talk to your child and let them know we are followers of Jesus. When we go to Sunday Mass, we gather with other friends and followers of Jesus. The Catholic Church is the family of God.
Activity: Decorate your sidewalk with crosses using colorful sidewalk chalk. Mom or Dad can draw the crosses and your child can color them. This is a great way to show you are a follower of Jesus.
Prayer Video: Watch the Sign of the Cross to learn how to make the Sign of the Cross. We always use our right hand. All prayers begin and end with the Sign of the Cross.

Learn: God gave us the Bible. It is His Holy Book. In church we hear stories about Jesus and others from the Bible.
Video: Watch Jesus Feeds Thousands from the Beginner Bible to hear of something wonderful Jesus had done.
Faith Blooms: Talk about how the Bible contains the stories about Jesus. Teach that it is a holy book to be handled with care and respect.
Video: Watch The Lost Sheep from the Beginner Bible. Help your child understand that Jesus wants us to know God the Father will always take care of us.
Activity: Help your child imagine they are the shepherd looking for the lost sheep. Hide some stuffed animals or "lost sheep". Pretend an area of the room is a sheep "pen." Have your child "gather the sheep" and put them all back into their "pen." Ask, "Doesn't it feel good getting all of the sheep back into the pen and knowing they are safe?"
