Learn: Do you know when you joined the Catholic Church? You joined at your Baptism. Baptism is a special celebration called a Sacrament. Sacraments are celebrations of God's love and grace.

Learn: The Church gives us many examples of good Christians. There are the disciples, Jesus' mother, Mary and the Saints. Saints are holy people who loved God and others.
Video: Watch The Good Samaritan. This story is from your Beginner Bible on pages 379-384.
Respond: After you watch the video, answer this question: What did Jesus tell the lawyer to do? (Answer: Go and do as the Good Samaritan did.) Jesus wants us to show love to others. We become holy when we follow God and Jesus.
