Learn: The two Sacraments of Healing are Reconciliation and Anointing of the Sick. Through Reconciliation we receive God's forgiveness for any sins we commit after Baptism. Anointing of the Sick celebrates God's love and healing power.

Learn: God gave Moses the Ten Commandments because he loves us and wants us to act in ways that are good and holy.
Video: Watch God's Story: Ten Commandments and the Golden Calf to learn more about Moses getting the Commandments from God.
Action: Read the Ten Commandments and their meaning sheet to learn what they mean to a 5th Grader. The first three Commandments teach us to love God and put him first. The fourth through sixth Commandments guide us to respect life. The seventh through tenth Commandments teach us to love and respect others.

Learn: Jesus wants us to trust in God's mercy. Mercy is the loving kindness God shows to sinners. God is merciful and always ready to forgive us.
Video: Watch The Pharisee and the Tax Collector. This is a parable Jesus told for those who thought of themselves as better than others.
Activity: Set up a prayer corner with a cloth, candle, crucifix, Bible and a book of saints to remind everyone to pray to God.
