Rockets & Missiles

Rockets are launched projectiles with stabilizing fins, a propulsion system, and a warhead. Missiles are rockets that carry internal guidance systems, with sensor packages adding their rating to the attack roll, since they can adjust their trajectory mid-flight.

All rockets are set to arm when they have traveled 10 meters from their point of origin and explode on impact or with an airburst link. This safety feature can be disabled with an Engineering + Logic (4, 5 Minutes) extended test.

All rockets and missiles have the following wireless feature: you can use the wireless link trigger for your rocket or missile, even if you don't have a direct neural interface.

Anti-Vehicle Rocket

AV Rockets and missiles contain a shaped-charge warhead designed to burn or punch its way through a vehicle or barrier. Though the impact causes a blast, it is limited compared to that of a high-explosive projectile.

Effect:

When firing an AV rocket or missile, designate exactly one primary target, which must be a barrier, motorcycle-or-larger sized vehicle or drone, or a large critter (10+ Body).
If that designated target is in Ground Zero range after scatter is resolved, then that target is considered directly hit and suffers the full force of the shaped charge, resulting in double the GZ Damage Value.
Any other targets in the blast suffer effects as normal.

Fragmentation Rocket

Used principally against people, the warhead discharges high-speed fragments designed to tear through soft targets.

Nemesis Arms Man-Catcher Missile

Only usable by the Shiawase Armaments Man-Catcher, these non-lethal exploding rounds coat an area in a fast-hardening rubber-like substance.
