Conventional Explosives

A range of explosive compounds, both solid and liquid, are available to the construction industry for all their destructive needs. Conventional explosives double their rating in damage when placed against structures, vehicles, or barriers.

The Engineering skill is required to prepare explosives and a Demolitions Shop is required to cook any explosives made from raw compounds. Each hit on a Logic + Engineering (Demolitions) test adds to the explosive's effective rating.

The Damage Value is calculated as an explosive's rating times the square root of the number of kilograms used, rounded down.

Plastic

These highly stable, moldable, and adhesive explosive compounds are military grade. Ideal for breaching walls, they usually come color-tinted to indicate the level of electrical current required to detonate them, from the black of magnetic-field induction to the chalky white of 440-volt industrial explosives.

Special Qualities:

Foam

Plastic explosives with the consistency of shaving cream and stored in an aerosol can. Perfect for spraying into crevices and detonated the same way as normal plastic explosives.

Liquid Explosives

Liquid explosives are frequently referred to as "liquid plastique." They function identically to plastic explosives except that those liquid explosives can be poured into desired quantities.

Special Qualities:

Detonating Cord

"Det cord" as it's known is a thin, plastic tube filled with a small amount of high-grade explosive. It can be used on its own, wrapped around an object for use as a cutting charge, or used as a breaching charge to punch through a barrier. It can also be connected to other explosives as means to set off connected charges like a high-speed fuse.

Detonating Cap

This detonator is inserted into a mass of explosives and set off either by programmable timer or radio signal.

Wireless: You can set the detonator's timer with a Minor Action.
Wireless: Detonating the explosive is a free action instead of a Minor Action.

Atomizer

Similar to bottles that spray water or perfume, an atomizer works on a larger scale to quickly spray a cloud of liquid explosives.
