Handwriting

I can practice the formation of letters that have a tail

It's time to practise our handwriting skills.

Watch video and then join in the activity.

It's your turn to practise your letter formation on the handwriting lines or the handwriting lines with cats.

Be mindful of your end point when writing the letter /g/.

Once you have written the long date, practised your upper and lower case letters, you might like to brainstorm interesting words with the letter /g/. Turn these interesting words into an interesting alliteration sentence.

You also might like to have a go at writing the lower case letter /g/ and turn them into pictures of mini guitars!

Writing

I can understand the language of procedures

This week we have disguised a monster, created a monster and now we will use our imagination to take an adventure!

Watch the following clip to see how to make your own 3D glasses at home.

Pay close attention to each step, you may even like to take notes while you watch.

Now it’s your turn to write a procedure explaining how to make 3D glasses.

Watch Mrs McLeod if you need a reminder of what to include in your written procedure.
