Writing
I can label the parts of an animal.
What is small and spikey? An echidna!
There are many echidnas living around our school. You may have been lucky enough to spot one at Fred Caterson Reserve. They are very shy and well camouflaged.
Today your task is to label the body parts of the echidna. Print this picture of an echidna or draw your own picture in the middle of the page.
Use arrows to labels parts like: nose, claws, spines, eyes, legs...
Challenge
Use adjectives to describe the body parts like: sharp claws, pointy spines, strong legs, tiny eyes...
Reading
I can read texts to improve my phrasing and fluency.
It's time to curl up and read a good book!
This week is ‘choose-your-own-book’ week!
Pick a book from SPELD website, your PM eCollection library or a book at your reading level from anywhere else.
You might choose to reread some old favourites or a discover adventures in a new story.

I can count forwards from 0-30.
Time to put your Maths brain on.

If you don’t have any board games at home, you can print one by clicking on any of the images below.
PD/H/PE
I can create a collage using things from nature.
Nature collage
It’s Springtime!
Go outside and enjoy your environment.
Collect sticks, twigs, rocks, all sorts of leaves, petals, feathers and create a collage.
Drama
Let's act!
We are going to use our face and our body to take on different roles.
Look at the people you see in everyday situations and become those people using only your expressions and movements.
Well done for finishing another great day of learning!
Remember to say thank you to anyone who helped you.
Now is a great time to go outside and be active!
