Maths

I can create 2D shapes using everyday objects.

Let’s revise 2D shapes!

Use everyday objects to make 2D shapes.

Create a square, a circle, a triangle, a rectangle and 1 free choice!

How creative can you be? Here are some ideas:

  • Pipe cleaners can be bent into shape.

  • What are paddle pop sticks good for?

  • What can you do with socks?

  • What can you fold a napkin into?

  • Do you have an egg ring?

  • Can you use Lego?

  • Pasta can be useful.

  • Sticks, stones and sand are more ideas....

You might like to upload pictures of your creative 2D shapes onto Seesaw to share them with your teacher.
