Sound and Echo
A boy and his father went for a walk
Climbing the hill, they started to talk
“Ahhhh” the boy screamed, as he fell
In the same vein, the mountain did yell
With echo, the young boy had the first blush
“Who are you” was his spontaneous gush
“Who are you” prompt came the reply
It was like horror pouring from the sky
The boy then shouted “you are a coward”
And with the same words he was showered
Frightened, the boy asked his dad
“Who is this guy so very mad”
“Say something nice”
Was the father’s advice
“I love you” the son then shouted
The same emotion came back undoubted
“You are wonderful” the boy said with a smile
And received the reply in the same style
The boy was thrilled
With wonder he was filled
To his son full of surprise
Tells the father so very wise
“Whatever you send forth to the world
The same for you will be unfurled”
Law is like the sound
And for the echo of justice to be profound
Let us make law that is good, strong and kind
Only then true justice we shall find
