Trash to Treasure

As our world turns into a violent bash

Where sounds blend and lights flash

Here old and new values clash

But in the end we collect only trash

The party will soon be over

Trash will be the only turnover

As a bleeding globe we hand over

Leaving future with a cruel hangover

Our planet urgently needs care

Everyone must be made aware

With posterity we must share

Enough of resources and clean air

Our fears how do we allay

Circular economy may be a way

Sustainability must forever stay

Trash must be the new cache

Greed always has an excuse

But Enough of abuse

We must learn to reduce

Recycle and reuse

We must not allow our planet to die

Our children won’t accept our alibi

‘Trash to treasure’ must become our war-cry

It’s a jingle we must codify
