Friends Forever

I was in search of glee

So I planted a tree

It grew and brought fresh air for free

Soon I heard the humming of a bee

Some birds would come and rest

Together they would chirp in jest

A few also built their nest

Glee was their only quest

Night and day

Nature’s play

I watch and pray

With glee I say

“We’ll be friends forever”
