Bird and Bird
A bird so small
Lived on a tree so big and tall
On the lowest branch, he had his nest
Of food, he was always in quest
One day when of chores he was free
He thought of exploring the tree
On the highest branch he saw another bird
But his sound he had never heard
With much verve
The second bird he continued to observe
Always calm and composed
He perceived the world with eyes fully closed
He looked so akin
As if he were his twin
With a burning desire to meet
He decided to go up and greet
But to the high branch he was a stranger
And the journey upwards was full of danger
Still he did start
With great hope in his heart
Branch by branch up he did move
His courage he had to prove
As he was just a bough away
In full splendour the second bird lay
Filled with joy and pride
He made the final stride
On top the sun was shining in full glare
But the other bird was not there
Are law and justice one or two?
Those birds give us a cue
Two in the beginning—like father and son
And finally merging into one
