About Me

I am a Professor at Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.  My research interests include Intellectual Property, Contract, Licensing, Banking and Insurance Laws. I am also interested in exploring the interaction between law, literature and religion. I often find my expression in the form of poetry. 

I have visited various institutions in the capacity of academic visitor, the prominent being the University of Oxford, the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, the University of Washington, the University of Tokyo, the University of Seoul, the International Institute of Human Rights, World Intellectual Property Organization and World Trade Organization. I have advised the Government of India in treaty negotiations and was a member of the Indian Delegation to the World Intellectual Property Organization to negotiate international treaties in the area of copyright. I was also a member of the Drafting Committee, which was tasked with drafting the Indian Copyright Rules.
