Apart from being a requirement to be brought out, if we get ourselves acquainted, marine comms is one of the most important device to operate in the busy waters around Singapore. This is a generic summary of the communications scene in Singapore waters. Maritime has quite a fair bit of interesting lingos; some of which might have seeped into our day to day conversations.
