Bull Ring

Type: Team Building

Logistics Required: 3D Bull Ring prop located at the games store/cupboard at the various campsites; Random items to create an obstacle course (optional)

Objective: To carry a small ball on a PVC tube using multiple strings (12 in total) through a series of obstacles, and to place the ball onto the goal (a plastic stand)

Instructions:

1. Place the tube with the ball balanced on the ground. Extend out the strings for participants to easily pick up one string. 

2. Place the black plastic stand signifying the ending point a distance away.

3. Optional: Place random items (e.g. hula hoops, rubber rings, cones) to set an obstacle course. 

Rules:

1. The participants are to only use one hand when pulling the string. The other hand to be behind the back.

2. Once all participants have stood up with the ball and the tube is lifted, the strings are to be taut until the end of the activity and must never touch the ground.

3. If any string is loose or the ball falls off, the game restarts. 

Variations:

1. You can get the participants to use their non-master hand.

2. You can stop verbal communication.

3. You can also have some members be blindfolded throughout the game. If you have more then 12 participants, the additional person can be a guide while the rest to be blindfolded.

4. If you create an obstacle course, you can reset the game whenever they touch any of the obstacle course items.
