(1) Be thankful
You may feel that the distance you trekked is long but there are refugees who go much further just to stay alive.
You may feet tired and your feet hurt but there are people who won't feel that because they have no legs or are bed-ridden.
You may feel deprived of comfort items like air con and cold drinks but many out there are without even basic necessity.
(2) Be prepared
Threat to our way of life and even our lives is always there.
SGSecure: it's not a matter of "if" but "when". Think back to SARS, COVID-19, Haze etc. Many other threats like climate change, rising sea level beyond the horizon. Are we prepared physically and mentally?
(3) Be willing to serve
Doing our part - give and contribute where we can.
Red Cross, OBS Alumni and many other organisation out there.
Pay it forward.
