Cheryl Bernier

Cheryl Bernier (nee Williams) was born on July 14, 1949, in Vancouver. She was raised in West Vancouve3r and attended Miss McGillvary's Kindergarten, West Bay Elementary School and graduated from Hillside Secondary School in 1967. She then attended UBC, graduating with a B.Ed (Secondary). She taught secondary school in Rutland, BC, West Vancouver Secondary, Hillside Secondary, and Central Junior Secondary in Dawson Creek, BC.

Cheryl resigned from teaching in 1982 to raise her children and then worked at H & R Bloc doing tax preparation, followed by employment with Canada Revenue Agency until her retirement in 2017. While employed with CRA, Cheryl served as a first aid attendant and on the Problem Resolution Committee. She also served on the North Vancouver Parents for French Committee and was a member for 25 years of the North Vancouver High School Education Foundation.

Cheryl now enjoys her retirement.
