Step 2: Research- Go with the Flow!
Find some good sources for your topic Each source must be valid, reliable and accurate sources from the following:
our class website
text resources (your copy of 42: The Jackie Robinson Story )
This process of exploration and research may lead you to something that intrigues or inspires you. That's great! Go with the flow! Let yourself get sidetracked by some interesting information you hadn't expected to find. Just make sure your sidetrack is related to your topic.
Step 3: Go to your OneNote Notebook
In the RESEARCH WORKSHOP section of your OneNote, you will find a page that will help you organize and synthesize your thinking.
Step 4: Set-Up Google Slides
Have one person in the group access the Collaborative Research Notes Google Slides posted in the RESEARCH WORKSHOP section of our Google Classroom.
This one person needs to:
Click "File"
Select "Make a Copy" of "Entire Presentation".
Save it to their Junior English folder in Google Drive.
This same one person must then:
share this Google Slides file with each person in the group- making each person an editor.
change the share permissions so that anyone with the link in Londonderry School District can view.
Step 5: Get Creative with Slides!
Follow the directions posted on each COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH NOTES Google slide.
Don't just copy/paste information from your research sources. Be "choosy" about what you decide to include in each slide.
Get creative with the images and design of your slideshow - collaborating with your group.
All done? Not yet.
Every person in the group should have a copy of the group's completed Google Slides. Place YOUR copy in your course folder.
