The Outdoor Recreation (ODR) Office offers recreational equipment rentals, lakefront services, and organized outdoor activities for JBCAS personnel and their families.

• Canoe, kayak, and boat rentals (seasonal availability)

• Organized hiking, fishing, and camping trips

• Lakefront pavilion rentals for private functions

• Recreational licenses for Little Bear Lake (boating, fishing)

Eagle Crest Golf Course – JBCAS

Nestled near the northeastern edge of JBCAS, Eagle Crest Golf Course offers a scenic and well-maintained 18-hole layout for service members, dependents, retirees, and authorized civilian personnel. Whether you’re looking to unwind after duty or spend quality time with friends and family, the course provides an ideal balance of recreation and challenge.

Features:

• Full 18-hole course with varied terrain and water hazards

• Golf cart and club rentals available at the Eagle Crest Clubhouse (Building 466)

• Practice green and driving range available for warm-ups and training

• Concessions and restrooms located at Building 465

• Golf course maintenance and equipment housed in Building 467

• Covered event pavilion (Building 468) available for tournaments, unit functions, and social gatherings

Eligibility & Access:

Use of the course is open to all individuals with base access. Tee times can be scheduled online or in person. ID checks are enforced at the gate.

Hours of Operation:

Daily – 0600 to Sunset (weather permitting)

Dress Code:

Appropriate golf attire is required. Uniforms may be worn during command-sanctioned events.

Auto Hobby Shop - Joint Base Cabot Air Station

The Auto Hobby Shop at JBCAS offers facilities, tools, and professional guidance to assist base personnel with vehicle maintenance, repair, and self-help projects.

Services Offered:

• Vehicle lifts and bays available for rent

• Tire mounting and balancing

• Oil change and fluid disposal stations

• Automotive battery recycling and resale

• Technical assistance from certified mechanics (limited hours)

Special Programs:

• Basic Automotive Maintenance Courses (quarterly)

• DIY Inspection and Pre-Deployment Vehicle Checks
