Welcome to JBCAS Operations Center
The JBCAS Portal is the single web entry point for running fictional base operations around KNAV: check the situation, follow live traffic, read weather and NOTAMs, plan sorties, train, and via Remote UI control key ops functions from a phone or tablet. It ties the MSFS scenery, local backend services, and community together into one Air Force–style ops experience.
JBCAS Operations Portal
https://jbcas.jbcasops.com
Your command dashboard for Joint Base Cabot Air Station (KNAV) in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The JBCAS Portal is the local operations hub for a fictional U.S. Air Force–style joint base in Enola, Arkansas modeled as KNAV in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. If you’ve just landed here and aren’t sure what you’re looking at: think of it as a base ops desk in your browser. It brings together live simulation data, airfield information, weather, schedules, training material, and community links in one place while you fly or run exercises.
This is a simulation and training tool, not a real military or FAA system. Everything here supports fictional ops for the KNAV scenery and the JBCAS community.
What you can do here:
Situation awareness- The dashboard gives you a quick read on base status: ops summary, weather watch, airfield condition, active NOTAMs, and what’s on the schedule. A sidebar shows live tags for FPCON, weather, and ops status at a glance.
Live operations- When the local JBCAS stack is running, you can monitor a real-time ops feed, view AI traffic and mission schedules, follow your aircraft on a live map, and read ATIS-style information. Most of this is read-only unless you’re signed in with an admin account.
Airfield & aviation data- Browse published NOTAMs and PIREPs, check METAR/TAF and radar overlays, look up ATC frequencies, study the airfield layout (runways, ramps, gates), and search the aircraft database.
Maps- Interactive base and airfield diagrams for KNAV, plus a live map that overlays your ownship and AI traffic when SimConnect is connected to the sim.
Training & mission support- Mission briefs, a Mission & Training Hub, base familiarization CBT, flight safety courseware, and SOP documents all framed for fictional JBCAS exercises, not real-world certification.
Community & getting started- Links to install the KNAV scenery, join Discord, download tools, report bugs, and connect with the broader JBCAS Operations Center public site (lore, field info, and project news). The portal itself is your local command center; the Ops Center site is the public-facing companion.
Who it’s for:
- Pilots flying the KNAV scenery in MSFS solo or in multiplayer
-Virtual ops staff running a desk during exercises or events
- Stack operators on the host PC who run the portal alongside the JBCAS backend services
- New community members figuring out how to install scenery, find resources, and plug into the operation
Most visitors can browse as a guest. Signing in with a username and PIN unlocks personal progress and certain actions; an admin PIN is required for airfield management and similar controls.
Remote UI :
The Remote UI button in the top bar opens a mobile- and tablet-friendly control panel in a new tab built for use on the ramp, in the cockpit, or anywhere you don’t want the full desktop portal.
It’s the same JBCAS account and the same live ops data as the main portal, but laid out for a phone or tablet. From Remote UI you can trigger common ops actions (such as generating ATIS, running PA broadcasts, toggling services, and posting NOTAMs) without sitting at the main console. The portal also has a Remote Ops page with a lighter embedded version of those controls if you prefer to stay in the main app.
