The JBCAS Public Affairs Office (PAO) manages the installation’s internal and external communications, ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of information to military personnel, families, and the public.
Services Provided:
Press release generation and media relations
Community engagement coordination (base tours, guest speaker requests)
Command Information updates (base newspaper, social media)
Crisis Communication Support (in coordination with Emergency Management)
Media Policy:
All media inquiries must be routed through the PAO.
No unauthorized interviews, photography, or access is permitted without prior PAO approval.

Visitor and Tourist Office - Joint Base Cabot Air Station
The JBCAS Visitor and Tourist Office offers official base tours, historical presentations, and community engagement programs to showcase the base’s mission, history, and aviation heritage.

Base Heritage Tour (Flightline, Heritage Room, Simulator Tours)
Youth Education Tours (STEM emphasis)
VIP and Distinguished Visitor Custom Tours

History Office and Archives - Joint Base Cabot Air Station
The JBCAS History Office preserves, documents, and promotes the rich history of the installation, its units, and the airmen and sailors who have served at the base.
Core Responsibilities:
Annual History Report (required for official Air Force records)
Heritage Display Development (base museum pieces and plaques)
Research Assistance for Leadership and Public Affairs
Archive Management (historical documents, photos, and awards)

Base Anniversary Ceremonies

Photography and Visual Information Section
The JBCAS Photography Section provides professional photographic services in support of official ceremonies, public affairs, training documentation, and historical archiving.

Promotion, Re-enlistment, and Award Ceremony Photography
Change of Command and Retirement Event Coverage
Studio Portraits (official military photos, passports, biographies)
Historical Event Photography (airshows, exercises, distinguished visits)
Multimedia Visual Production (limited)

Requests should be submitted a minimum of 10 duty days in advance.
