Air Mobility Support Detachment (AMSD)
The JBCAS AMSD coordinates and manages cargo, passenger movements, and transient airlift support for Air Mobility Command (AMC) missions transiting the installation.

Aircraft load planning and documentation
Joint Inspection (JI) of hazardous cargo and outsized loads

JBCAS Passenger Terminal (PAX Terminal) Overview
The Joint Base Cabot Air Station Passenger Terminal serves as the primary hub for official Department of Defense passenger operations, comparable to a small regional or national commercial airport.

Passenger and Baggage Screening (TSA standards applied for certain flights)
Comfortable Departure Lounges and Crew Rest Areas
