JBCAS KNAV is Class C airspace
JBCAS is built around five runways aligned both north–south and east–west, giving pilots exceptional flexibility in all wind conditions.
9L/27R – Main east–west runway, equipped with full ILS capability.
9R/27L – Auxiliary parallel runway for overflow and training.
18L/36R – Main north–south runway with full navigation fidelity.
18R/36L – Additional parallel surface supporting high-volume operations.
10/28 – Short-field utility runway for light aircraft and training.
Runway 9L features aircraft carrier landing markings, configured for Field Carrier Landing Practice.
Optimized for F/A-18, F-35, and naval aviation traffic patterns.
JBCAS contains four major parking ramps, each with distinct operational roles:
Primary visitor operations
Restoration hangars and historical aircraft workspaces
Home of Naval aviation squadrons
Contains the large Airshow Hangar for major JBCAS events
Hosts Army and Marine Corps rotary-wing operations
Includes pads and support areas for helicopters (UH-60, CH-53, AH-64)
South Bravo: Heavy aircraft cargo loading/unloading zone
Dedicated to Air Force fighter operations
Houses foreign military squadrons visiting for joint exercises
Taxi access optimized for quick-turn sorties
PAX (Passenger) terminal and rotator operations
Designed for C-5, C-130 C-17, KC-135, and civilian charter support
Acts as the primary gateway for personnel movement
Full ILS on primary runways
Precision approach lighting
Accurate glidepath and localizer alignment for MSFS
Optimized for VR and 2D flying environments
