Event Title:

Joint Base Cabot Air Station Bi-Annual Airshow 2026

Dates: May 16-24 2026

Overview:

JBCAS will host its Annual Airshow and Open House from Monday, September 15, 2025 through Sunday, September 21, 2025.

The event will feature tactical fighter demonstrations, aerobatic performances, simulator open houses, static displays, and opportunities for the public and military families to tour aviation facilities.

Schedule Highlights:

• September 15–18:

  • Aircraft arrivals

  • Practice sessions

  • Ramp setup for static displays

• September 19 (Friday):

  • Practice day for performers (open to base personnel)

• September 20–21 (Saturday–Sunday):

  • Public Airshow Days

  • Full flight demonstration schedule

  • Food, family activities, simulator demonstrations, and recruiting exhibits

• September 22 (Monday):

  • Aircraft departures

  • Ramp closure for tear-down operations

Special Airspace and Field Considerations:

• Expect temporary airspace closures around JBCAS during airshow flying windows.

• Ground operations may be limited during peak airshow periods.

• VIP and performer parking areas designated along Alpha and Bravo ramps.

Honor Guard Flight - JBCAS

The JBCAS Honor Guard Flight provides professional ceremonial support for military honors, special events, and official base ceremonies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Funeral Honors for active-duty, retired, and veteran personnel

• Presentation of Colors at official ceremonies

• Change of Command, Retirement, and Promotion Ceremonies

• Community Relations Events (school presentations, civic ceremonies)

Eligibility to Join:

• Active Duty and Reserve personnel selected by leadership endorsement

• Must complete ceremonial training program

• Represent JBCAS with professionalism and pride at all times
