Deployment Readiness Cell (DRC) - Joint Base Cabot Air Station
The Deployment Readiness Cell (DRC) ensures that all deploying personnel are prepared administratively, medically, and logistically to meet operational commitments worldwide.
Services Provided:
Pre-deployment processing and checklist validation
Medical and dental readiness screening
Legal readiness (wills, powers of attorney)
Briefings on theater-specific requirements and cultural awareness
Assistance with travel orders, gear issue, and deployment finance
Mandatory Appointments:
All deploying personnel must complete DRC processing no later than 30 days prior to deployment unless waived by Unit Commander.

Communications and Information Systems Flight (Comm Squadron) - JBCAS
The Communications Squadron at JBCAS provides information technology (IT), cyber defense, and communications support across all units and mission areas.
Core Services:
Network account creation and management
Base-wide cybersecurity protection and incident response
Telephone system management and VoIP services
Radio communications support for flightline and emergency services

Reminder:
All users are responsible for maintaining cybersecurity best practices and reporting any suspicious IT incidents immediately to the Comm Squadron.
Deployment Processing Line (DPL) - Joint Base Cabot Air Station
The Deployment Processing Line (DPL) ensures personnel and equipment readiness for deployment operations supporting national defense missions.
Processing Line Stations Include:
Personnel (orders verification, emergency data cards)
Finance (travel pay, advance pay setup)
Medical (immunizations, medical readiness clearance)
Legal (wills, powers of attorney, legal readiness check)
Supply (gear issue and asset tracking)
Pre-Deployment Timeline:
Initial Brief: No later than 45 days prior to deployment
Final DPL Appointment: No later than 5 duty days prior to departure
Personnel are responsible for coordinating with Unit Deployment Managers (UDMs) to ensure all requirements are met on schedule.

Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection (ATFP) Program - JBCAS
The JBCAS ATFP Office is responsible for safeguarding installation assets, personnel, and operations through proactive anti-terrorism and force protection measures.
Primary Responsibilities:
Risk/threat assessments and mitigation planning
Random Anti-Terrorism Measures (RAMs) scheduling and execution
Force Protection Condition (FPCON) monitoring and escalation
Insider Threat Awareness and Reporting Programs
Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Program management
Key Policies:
ID checks at all gates
Vehicle inspections based on RAM schedules
Emergency Mass Notification enrollment mandatory for all assigned personnel
