Airshow Operations Office - Joint Base Cabot Air Station

The JBCAS Airshow Operations Office manages the planning, safety coordination, and logistical execution of the annual Joint Base Cabot Airshow and related open house events.

Core Responsibilities:

• Scheduling and coordination of aerial demonstration teams

• Flightline and crowd area safety planning

• Parking and shuttle route planning for attendees

• Vendor coordination and public facilities support (food, merchandise, restrooms)

• Emergency response coordination with Fire, Security, and EMS units

Safety Notes:

• Flightline crowd lines strictly enforced.

• Aircraft ground displays are subject to security sweeps.

• Drone usage is prohibited within 5NM of the airfield during airshow operations.

Drones/walkie talkies/HAM radios/Scanners

Lasers/Laser Pointers

Spray Paint/Silly String/Balloons

Canopies/Tents/Large Umbrellas

Personal cooking equipment

Explosives (to include fireworks)

Drugs / THC products (to include Marijuana even if you have a green card)

No outside food or drink

No frisbees, baseballs, footballs or other sporting equipment that can be thrown
