Alfred and his wife, Wincy, moved to Forsyth County in 2003 and are proud parents of two children, both of whom attended Settles Bridge Elementary, Riverwatch Middle School and Lambert High School. A Senior Manager of Human Resource Information Systems for a national company, Alfred's work includes gathering and analyzing data to improve operational efficiency and excellence. An active member in the community, Alfred is a past president of the Southers Lake HOA and has served on the Forsyth County Zoning Board of Appeals since 2017 and is the current Chairman.The John’s are active members of Lake Lanier Bible Chapel Church, where Alfred served as Treasurer.
Ken grew up in nearby Gwinnett County, serving his country in the US Navy, then spent 32 years serving the public in Law Enforcement. Ken is a family man and small business owner who has spent a lifetime in public service.
Growing up in Gwinnett and spending a career in DeKalb County, Ken has seen firsthand what a flawed growth plan can do to even a county as great as Forsyth. Ken's conservative values and practical ideas for the county will, he hopes, push the county forward.
Amy is a graduate of Georgia College with a degree in Community Health and Human Services. Upon graduation, she accepted a position as the Health and Safety Coordinator of The American Red Cross in East Georgia. In later years she went on to establish the Midway United Methodist Church after school ministry. Currently, she serve as the Executive Director of Family Haven, Forsyth County’s Domestic Violence Non Profit.
Amy is proud to have built partnerships with multiple community stakeholders and business associates, and she looks forward to leveraging her experiences to bring sound fiscal management, ensure a positive quality of life, support local businesses and events that showcase our county, and promote a fun and energetic sense of community.

Brandy is a life long resident of Georgia and I've lived in Forsyth County for over ten years now. I am proud to call Forsyth my home. She is a wife and a mother of two beautiful girls, Katlin and Kylee. Brandy is also a conservative Republican that supports the Constitution of the United States of America, the 2nd Amendment, and the State of Georgia.
Commissioner Cindy Jones Mills was re-elected in 2016 for the 2017-2020 term. She serves as the chair of the Social Services, Transportation, and General County Government Policy Committees, and as a member of the Finance Committee. Since becoming a commissioner, Jones Mills worked to create the Forsyth County Drug Summit and Forsyth County Drug Awareness Council, of which she currently serves as chair. She also worked with the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce and the Georgia Department of Transportation to launch the Transportation Summit. Cindy is the mother of two children, Megan Mills Bottoms and Courtney Mills, and the proud grandmother of Brooklyn and Charlie Bottoms. She is an active member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, where she teaches Sunday school and youth bible study and serves as the director of the Oak Grove Opry.
Forsyth County Commission Chairman Laura Semanson was elected in 2016 to serve the 2017-2020 term representing District 5, which encompasses an eastern sweep of the county including the Lake Lanier region. A major focus for Ms. Semanson has been the creation of Forward Forsyth, the economic development partnership of the Chamber of Commerce, Forsyth County Government, the Development Authority of Forsyth County and the Forsyth County Education System to bring investment and jobs to the county. She and her husband David have three children.
