Linda Sharpe Cowen has been a judge of the Clayton County State Court for more than 24 years. Judge Cowen grew up in Clayton County, and she and her husband have raised their two sons here.

Leslie Miller-Terry is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She moved to Georgia in 1992. Leslie has been an attorney for 30 years and has practiced law in Philadelphia as well as Georgia. Leslie graduated from Villanova University School of Law in May 1986. Shortly after moving to Georgia, Leslie continued her career as a prosecutor with the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. Leslie had her own law practice until 2005. In November 2004 Leslie was elected as the first African American and first woman to serve as Solicitor General of Clayton County. Leslie now serves as the Solicitor in the City of Forest Park. On October 15, 2017, Leslie answered her calling to the ministry and became an Ordained Minister. She is a former youth basketball coach, and a member of various social and civic organizations.

Shalonda is the current State Court Judge for Clayton County and has previously served as Deputy Chief Assistant Solicitor and Senior Assistant Solicitor General. After graduating from University of Tennessee College of Law, she was a Judicial Law Clerk at the Tennessee Court of Appeals. She was a founding partner at Harris & Jones LLC.
