Through his bid for District Attorney, Person is aiming to reform the Gwinnett County Justice system by reforming the cash bail system, ending mass incarceration, to end the criminalization of mental illness and drug addictions, and introducing for widespread mentoring and counseling programs for youth offenders
Person graduated from Mercer Law in 2003 among the top of his class, after which he served as an Assistant District Attorney, and later went on to become a criminal defense attorney
