David L. Dickinson

David L. Dickinson is a judge of the Bell-Forsyth Circuit of Georgia. He was first appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue in 2003. Dickinson received his B.A. in economics from Mercer University and his J.D. from Thomas. M. Cooley School of Law. Prior to becoming a Superior Court judge, Dickinson was a chief state court judge for Forsyth County. Prior to that, he was the assistant state attorney for the 19th Judicial Circuit of Florida. He practiced law as a private attorney for a time with the firm Lipscomb, Johnson & Ashway. Eventually, he co-founded Hamil and Dickinson, then became a partner with Miles, Reese & McGoff.
