Homemade Recordings

In these days of streamed videos and audio it is hard to describe the pure excitement of hearing your own voice recorded on a audio disc you made. This was pure analogue with the grooves a result of the loudness of the voice.

Way back in the 1960s a friend of mine (Francis Wood) and I made a short recording. We used a needle, a big horn and lots of shouting! I still have that record, but nothing these days that can play it!

As I recall, I said, "Mary had a little lamb" or something equally profound. I came across this record recently whilst looking for something else.
