The Heathkit HW-8 was an HF CW QRP rig covering 80m, 40m, 20m and 15m. It had a direct conversion receiver and was the successor to the HW7. It worked well and allowed me plenty of DX. All my DX was with wire dipoles.
I have recently (to be received) acquired a much modified one. I am not sure my fine motor skills are up to sending CW! We shall see!
