Cambridge is quite near to this location.
It is usually swarming with overseas visitors attracted to its history that we often take for granted. We get free entry into the world famous Kings College Chapel and other colleges. Every Christmas the famous "Nine Lessons and Carols" service is broadcast from here all over the world.
I worked in Cambridge all my working life. In my time I worked for Pye Telecom, Philips, Simoco and Sepura.
Its most famous attractions include the colleges and the Backs, which is the River Cam backing onto the colleges.
Many like to get a punt on the river. The famous trick is to leave your punt pole behind stuck to the river bed! I have done it! Luckily they usually leave a paddle so you can retrieve it.
