UTOPIA (?)

ยูโทเปีย หรือสังคมในอุดมคติที่ทุกอย่างถูกสร้างขึ้นอย่างยุติธรรมและทุกชีวิตอยู่กันอย่างมีความสุข แต่ในมุมมองของข้าพเจ้าที่เป็นคนไทยคนหนึ่งนั้น สังคมที่เราใช้ชีวิตอยู่มันไม่ได้ใกล้เคียงกับคำ ๆ นี้เลย น้ำหนักของบางสิ่งมวลมหาศาลกดทับลงบนชีวิตที่ดิ้นรนหาอิสรภาพในประเทศแห่งนี้ ทุกการวิพากษ์วิจารณ์ถูกจับจ้องมองมาจากทุกแห่งหน จุดสีแดงจึงถูกเว้นว่างไว้ให้ผู้ชมทุกคนได้เติมความหมายที่เจ็บปวดลงในนั้นด้วยตนเอง ภาพถ่ายชุดนี้จึงเป็นเหมือนตัวแทนของการดิ้นรนที่จะป่าวประกาศความต้องการเสรีภาพของข้าพเจ้าในดินแดนที่มืดบอดอันชื่อว่า "ประเทศไทย"

UTOPIA (?)

My overall concept was the word, Utopia, an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect and every life live peacefully under justice. But our society "Thailand" is so far away from that word. We have so many problems in society. We can't say everything we want. Something, if you say it, you may end up in jail no matter how old you are. Criticizing some groups of people is something you have to think about before you do in Thailand. Our system is that absurd. So, I want to represent this absurdity by using a red circle. This photography let you fulfill the meaning of that red circle with anything you can think of. It's like a blank space in a textbook that you can fill all by yourself, without right or wrong. It's a space that fills with the pain of Thai people.
