Is that a christmas tree?
บ่อยครั้งที่มองเห็นแสงไฟสีวิบวับๆในช่วงคริสมาสต์เช่นนี้จากระยะไกล แล้วก็โมเมคิดไปเองว่าเป็นต้นคริสมาสต์ หรือ บางครั้งก็ถามกับตัวเองหรือคนรอบข้างว่า ว่ามันคือแสงไฟจากต้นคริสมาสต์ป่ะ? แต่พอเดินมาดูใกล้ๆ ก็ได้แต่อุทานว่า "เอ้า"
Blooming of hope
ถ้าเรามองว่าตัวเราเองนั้นคือดอกไม้ ทุกขณะที่เราเติบโตก็คงจะเหมือนกับดอกไม้ที่กำลังบานสะพรั่งแต่ในช่วงเวลาเดียวกันนี้ก็มีบางสิ่งที่กำลังร่วงโรยไปเช่นเดียวกันนั่นคือ “ความหวัง” หากนึกย้อนไปตอนวัยเด็ก ช่างเป็นวัยที่ความหวังนั้นเติบโตอย่างเต็มที่ ด้วยความไร้เดียงสา ความอ่อนต่อโลก ก็เลยคาดหวังไปกับทุกๆเพราะคิดว่าโลกคงจะใจดีกับทุกคน พอเมื่อเราเติบโตเราก็จะรู้ว่าโลกนั้นไม่ได้ใจดีอย่างที่เราคิดไว้เลย พอเมื่อเรารู้มากขึ้นเราก็ผิดหวังเพิ่มมากขึ้น ความหวังที่เคยมีก็ลดลงไปเรื่อยๆ เพราะเราเองก็ต่างรู้ตัวดีว่ามันเป็นไปไม่ได้ ผ่านไปแต่ละช่วงวัยเราล้วนแต่ทิ้งความหวังไว้มากมาย จนช่วงสุดท้ายของชีวิตเราเองก็ยังหวังครั้งสุดท้ายว่าให้มีชีวิตอยู่ต่อไป ท้ายที่สุดแล้วถึงเราจากโลกไปพร้อมกับความหวัง แต่จริงๆแล้วความหวังนั้นก็ไม่ได้หายไปไหน มันแค่กลายไปเป็นความหวังของใครบางคนต่อไปแค่นั้นเอง

Many times I saw twinkling lights like this from a far distance in the countryside of Thailand, and then I thought it was a Christmas tree. But when I walked closer It was not what I expected.
Blooming of hope
If we compare ourselves with flowers As we grow we are like flowers in full bloom, but at the same time, something is also fading away, that thing is “hope”. What an age when hope grows to its fullest. with innocence. I thought that the world would be kind to everyone. When we grow up, we realize that the world is not as kind as we thought. As we know more, we become more disappointed. The hope he had had steadily declined. 'Cause we all know it's impossible. As each generation passes, we all leave a lot of hope. Until the end of our lives, we still have the last hope that we will continue to live.

Phongsathon Boonto is a Thai photographer who was born in 1998 and raised in Ratchaburi, a countryside province in Thailand. Earned the Bachelor of Arts in Photography from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. With a passion for fine art photography combining his living in the countryside, thus his works have been developed from beliefs and traditions which impact him and his fellows. Phongsathon is currently working as a freelance photographer.
