Pencaitland Community Choir - Founded as an Intergenerational inclusive choir.
Creating, chatting, chilling together - what's not to like? One of several "Men's Sheds" in E. Lothian and into their 10th yr!
Drop on for a tasty meal and great company. Open to all who would enjoy the social contact and/or good nutritious & affordable meal.
Walking Football is thriving in Tranent - Holiday times means even more fun for all ages to join in together.
Keep The Heid Café - community wellbeing
An intergenenerational group tackling issues affecting women and girls - but with a lot of fun and friendships built up too.
Station Gardens Community Growers (formerly Ormiston Grows),
Nr Puddle Bridge, Ormiston - allotments and friendships growing side by side.
The Fraser Centre - Baby and Toddler Cinema - for grown ups to connect and enjoy while children play and meet new and familiar faces - just one of many community-minded activities at The Fraser Centre, Community Trust.
Recharge are a youth group in Tranent, covering Fa'side area.
Active in their community, we hear they have IG aspirations...so watch this space!
Volunteer Centre East Lothian has it's office in Tranent - and welcomes volunteers to support food pantry and more, as well as share opportunities from other orgs.
Incredible projects working intergenerationally with children from primary and then secondary schools, Children's Parliament, local groups and area partnership, Fa'side community members, IPA Scotland and then The U.N. Learn more here and see what legacy there has been.
