WELCOME to East Lothian Intergenerational Network
Intergenerational work is recognised as having huge benefits, key to tackling Ageism, Isolation and Loneliness, developing more cohesive communities and expanding opportunities for learning, health, wellbeing, activism and innovation. Yet, much intergenerational work goes 'under the radar' and opportunities can be lost, to draw support through lack of awareness and prioritising this work.
Recognising the gap that exists in Intergenerational work being evidenced, a team rolled up their sleeves and have engaged with this positively. In March, the team of researchers travelled to the Generations Working Together conference and shared their work and insights.
A positive experience for all....and a lovely blog, giving an overview of the GWT Conference, was shared after the event.
