Roll a Conversation
This game is for groups smaller than 6 (4 is a good number). You will need a dice.
In your groups assign numbers to yourselves, such as 1, 2, 3 or 4.
The left over numbers will be 'Roll again' so in this example 5 and 6 will be 'roll again'.
The first student rolls the dice; the student with that number starts a conversation on any topic, using one or two sentences only.
Then, the next student rolls the dice again.
Whoever's number is shown continues the conversation, staying on topic and/or transitioning to a new topic appropriately.
Continue the conversation using the dice.
Towers
In groups of 3 or 4 , build a tower using materials your teacher gives you.
The tower must have 3 points of contact with the surface you are working on.
Or try Guess the Object
Put your hand into box (no peaking!) to feel what's in the box.
Describe what the object feels like.
Take turns guessing what it might be.
Remember, showing you are actively listening is different for different people. Some of us have ADHD, ASD or have something on our minds. We might be from cultures where we tend not to look at people's faces.
Always be kind and check in with your listeners.
