Spend some summer days playing with paint, sand, and water! If you can get outside and get messy, have your child to take the lead and reinforce the idea that it is okay to get messy!

Bring a bucket of water and some paint brushes and try painting cement, fences, or the side of your house with water (The same can be done with large paper and paint too)!
Set up a large bucket of water with some soap and have your children participate in laundry day pretend play.
While you’re washing your car, have your child help, or keep them busy by using sponges to transfer water from one bucket to another.
