Learning Activity: Please use the following links to help you learn the alphabet. Once you feel confident spelling your own name, please practice with a friend. Here are three activities you can do to practice:
Practice Activity 1 - In a group of three, take turns spelling the names of famous animals using the Spanish Alphabet. Have your friends guess which animals you are spelling.
Practice Activity 2 - Play shark using Spanish speaking places in the world and the Spanish alphabet.
Practice Activity 3 - Have a student write a Spanish speaking place on a whiteboard and as you read the word try to spell it using the Spanish alphabet.
Practice Activity 4 - With a partner, practice spelling your name and at least 3 words from the list while recording it on the ipad. Once you feel comfortable with your recording, switch with another group. Then each of you takes a turn watching one of the other group's video. Practice Activity 5 - Listen to the listening practice videos (from the link below) and practice spelling with a white board. Link for practice

Evaluation for Lesson -
Proficiency Demonstration - Please tape yourself with an iphone or ipad. You must spell your first and last name without looking at your notes and then spell a mystery word that I will give you on a slip of paper. For challenge level, you must spell two challenge words as well.
Listening Demonstration - There will be an in class aural quiz where I will spell 5 words and you will write them down as you hear them.
