Today should be a wrap up day for all three classes, today! Nothing to photocopy…
All materials are found on my cart in rm 311 A or on my Edmunds Website (check under “all teams” and then go to Brodie Spanish) any problems call 338-1844 …Also attendance lists are located in the blue folder on my the table next to the cart entitled attendance…powerpoints are located at:

Period 2 8:56 – 9:38 - 6th grade Spanish in the computer lab

Extra attendance sheets are located in the (blue?) folder on the table next to the cart which says "attendance"
6th grade Spanish, Period 2 8:56 – 9:38: Class E white days/ Class D blue days - In the computer lab today
Students are continuing to go online to find as much info as they can about their subjects areas for their research country (I believe today's group is Argentina, but they should know from Thursday) They should write 2-4 of their own sentences about each subject that they have chosen to study. Please remind them that copying and pasting text from the internet is not OK. They should look for visuals only AFTER they have their text. The visuals should support their text…(they always love to look for the visuals first) IF they know how to do google presentations they should put their info into that format and share with me. If not, just have them put it into a doc and share.
7th Grade Spanish, Period 3 -10:12 – 10:54: Mr Monihan’s room
wrapping up the three items…translating my dialog, taping themselves saying my dialog and writing their own dialog. (If there are students that want to wrap up their letters that is OK too… Both cameras and the audio tape recorder will be either on the cart, or brought to Vicki by 10:00 AM.

Enrichment world cultures Period 4 10:56 – 11:38 In Mr. Monanhan's room
Activity I - There are still 3-4 students that need to present their projects today on a state or region of North America, you should plan to have them present using the smartboards as their presentation platform.
Activity II - I would like them to get into groups of three or four and discuss the following questions:
1. What was surprising to you about your state or region, or someone else's?
2. What was something you learned about either your state or region or another one that would make you want to live there?
3. What was something you learned about either your state or region or another one that would make you NOT want to live there?
4. What was one major difference between your state/region and Vermont?
After they have shared as small groups, please lead a full class discussion to share out a bit...maybe two shares on each question.
Activity III - If there is enough time, there is a video fro Stephen Fry about America (either on my cart or it will be Vicki by 10:00) The video is separated into sections and chapters... To compare the northern plains with the southwest of the US please show them Episode 4 Chapters 5 & 7 and Episode 5 Chapters 3 & 5. Please feel free to stop and see if they can make any comparisons to what they learned about their regions. I believe I will be back tomorrow, so Thank you very much for covering my little Canguros today.
